As a supplier to the industry, we offer a combination of services to our customers and business partners that is unique on the German market. Our 4 areas include the production, processing and subsequent treatment of plastic parts in the injection molding process, the production and assembly of cable or power supply cables, the assembly of devices and their finishing processes - up to the finished complete device, our own toolmaking department supports us in meeting our customers‘ requirements by being flexible and quick.
The family business Plastro Mayer
Plastro Mayer is now in the hands of the third generation of the Grupp family of entrepreneurs. The father-daughter team exemplifies sustainable, innovative and generation-oriented entrepreneurship. Injection molding
In our injection molding production we manufacture with fully automated robot handling systems on injection molding machines with a clamping force from 30 to 1100 t. We produce and process injection molded parts made of thermoplastics in single-component and multi-component injection molding (2K). We also manufacture molded rubber parts from elastomers (NR). Our range of parts extends from simple small parts to surface parts with the highest optical requirements. We are convinced that every household will find something produced by Plastro Mayer at home.
Cable
Plastro Mayer offers mains connection cables for all countries and assembled cables on customer request. We produce harmonized PVC cables on site in Trochtelfingen. We round off our production program (e.g. rubber cables) with certified partners and process the corresponding meter goods into assembled cables for all countries. We also offer the possibility to get everything from one source through our comprehensive trading program. Assembly
In our equipment assembly department, we offer our customers everything from simple assemblies to complete devices with delivery to your fulfillment center.In-house manufactured injection molded parts and supply cables as well as purchased parts are assembled into complete, ready-to-use devices. We carry out the necessary safety tests and can also deliver directly in your sales packaging. Subsequent work such as printing, welding, gluing, hot stamping, etc. is carried out directly in-house. For coating steps such as steaming, galvanizing and varnishing, we have long-standing partners. We are also happy to carry out exclusive assembly work for you on a contract basis.
Tooling
Our own tool shop with about 15 employees completes our production program. Our flexible tool shop is busy with the production of new tools, repairs, modifications and maintenance of all customer tools. We also carry out adaptations to takeover tools. Our own design department processes customer data and designs and develops data suitable for plastics production. Through our CAD system NX Siemens we are always up to date in the design of molds. Mold-flow analyses etc. complete our possibilities. Via 3D prints we will soon be able to present sample parts to you in advance.
